Project organization: Economic Zone’s Exploitation and Construction Management Committee in Banan district, Chongqing. This economic zone includes Huaxi Industrial Zone, Lujiao Industrial Zone, and Jinzu Industrial Zone and so on. It locates at the center of Changing’s one hour economic circle, and it is also the important part of the new district of southern Chongqing. The economic zone is the important automobile motorcycle base, which has a convenient transportation and a good industrial foundation. Thus it forms a mechanical manufacturing industrial group. Based on the present industry, it will enlarge the development scale, especially the electro mechanic, electron, micro electron, furniture, dressing, food, and Medicare, thus to build an important manufacturing base in Chongqing and also the logistic center in the southern area.

(1) Necessity: in order to build this district into Chongqing’s new industrial zone and make a good use of the resource, and to promote a sound and fast development, we plan to build it to be an industrial zone with novel style and high-tech and thus to make it an important growth pole of Banan’s economy.

(2) Construction Scale, Content and Investment

①  Huaxi Industrial Zone Jieshi Development Area: 3,000 square meters acreage and municipal governmental infrastructure construction; convenient transportation; total investment 300,000,000 RMB;

②  Lujiao Industrial Zone: A, C, D road; total investment 450,000,000 RMB;

③  Jinzu Industrial Zone: Main Street and Jian Tanhe Bridge; total investment 230,000,000 RMB.

(3) Construction Condition: convenient transportation; we can provide water, electricity, and telecommunication for the infrastructure construction.

Sole proprietorship or joint venture; start the construction at the end of 2008.
